I've heard this many times as well but Mark Rein from Epic mentioned Vegas along with Gears of War and UT2007 when he was talking about UE3.

Of course he is.. nOObisoft is one of their best customers it might be a marketing trick.. :p
What 40s theme claiming is totally true about this modified engine, it exists and it's being used in some games..

They might be using UE3 in RS:VI afterall who knows, but nevertheless if this is true , then it is a very very poor implementation of the engine.. :roll:

I mean look at GoW and then look at RS:VI.. :p Bahahaha

You can't forget that the prowess of the engine is only a fraction of the ability to portray a beautiful image to the end-user. Like an artist, you need more than just a fancy brush to paint a masterpiece.

That's why I said that IF it is UE3 then it is a poor implementation.. ;)
