i also noticed that one of my teammates got stuck on a sign, twice, and i had to walk around the opposite side for him to get free of it. I don't remember stuff like that in the first one.
I just got past the oil refinery place, and now I'm at some kind of ocean resort place. This game is really pissing me off now. I died so many times at the oil refinery place after shutting off the fire alarm because enemies just kept on popping out of thin air and all the enemy entrances are just so scripted. I'm at the point where I know I can trigger enemy spawning by inching my way forward. Move one step forward. 3 bad guys rappel out of no where.
There's this one part with a forklift that's carrying an explosive barrel. If you shoot it there's this huge explosion. Afterwards if you inch forward someone suddenly appears right behind the forklift. The only way for that person to not have died during the explosion is if they spawned out of midair.
It's like silencers don't mean a damn thing in this game. You can go through half of a level getting all head shots with no one uttering a peep and suddenly the scripting will send a bunch of guys storming your position for no good reason. Is this what I get for $50 nowadays? I've been aching for a good realistic tactical game but this is ridiculous.
I shudder imagining what the "realistic" difficulty setting would be like. How realistic can it be if everything's scripted, enemies spawn out of nowhere, enemies are clairvoyant, and you damage realistically?
