Okay,

i just tried to play my first mission CS style. didnt work out too well 🙁. i got a few questions:

1. How do u get the hostages to move its butt and come with u? i tried the manupulate the environment button but didnt work.

2. How good are default mission plans?

There's a key (I think it's V) where you can change the mission stance of the current counter-terrorist group. Refer to the manual and/or quick-reference card for this key/operation.

Initially, it would be in "Assault" mode. You have to change this to "Escort". Only when this is toggled can the hostages be freed.

I recommend sweeping the immediate surrounding area free of Tangos before attempting the hostage rescue. A sure-fire way is to attempt and clear the entire level free of tangos.

Default mission plans are good for the beginner or one that just wants to get into the action w/out all the hassle of planning. They're alright, but after playing the same level over and over again (in my case) it may seem prudent and even fun to make one's own planning.
