Rain-X wiper blade problems

Replaced the factory blades on my '06 4Runner with Rain-X Latitude frameless blades a few weeks ago. Immediately I noticed that water would pool on the edge of the driver side window and, on the return stroke, the driver-side blade would pull some of this water back into view. Now, at highway speeds, this isn't much of an issue since the wind will blow most of the water away but it's more of an issue at slower speeds and it didn't happen at all with the factory blade.

Second, and more annoying issue is that after maybe two weeks, the driver-side blade began to leave streaks in a honeycomb pattern with individual cells maybe the size of my fingernail. The individual cells vary from return stroke to return stroke but the overall pattern is a honeycomb. This only happens on the wiper's return stroke and didn't happen at all until the blades were a couple weeks old. I also do not recall seeing this with the old blades. I've tried cleaning the windshield with Windex and rubbing alcohol and I've cleaned the blades with alcohol with no luck.

Could this be the result of using Rain-X brand wiper fluid? Yeah, yeah, I know but it's the only non-winter formula the store had...

Suggestions?

I bought the same type of new blade from tire rack (not rain x though). They suck! I can see why it was buy one get one free. Even at that price, I still feel ripped ($24 after shipping). I wish I went to walmart and just got the cheap $4 blades, that would have worked better.

Here are my problems:

1. return stroke leaves water behind on driver side. It's a huge puddle from the middle of the blade.
2. on passenger side, end tip does not touch window.
3. same problem with water being put back into view.

Bosch ICON

Just put these on my car. No complaints - only times they've left water was when a leave or other debris was stuck under the blade.

They replaced ancient blades so the difference was night and day.

Bosch Icons have been on my Mustang for nearly two years, I love them. Great blades, & here in Oregon they see plenty of use.
