I am planning to buy this case, but I can't find any good information on the psu that comes with it except that it is 500 watt (I already know that psu's that come with cases are generally crap, but I'm on a budget right now). Does anyone know where I can get some good information on this psu?

Does anyone else recommend/not recommend this case?

Thanks

I'd vouch for the case, but let's be honest here... a 500w raidmax psu can't be better than a 250w good psu. I'd get the smildjon w/o the psu, and buy something like an enhance5140gh or fortron fsp400-gln. The case itself has a pretty good cooling system, 2x 12cm fans, is steal chasis w/ aluminum bezal, and has the right amount of bling if you're into that. If you want something more conservative, check out the coolermaster centurion line. That's probably a better value for your dollar.
I just got a cm centurion 534 plus and it has 2x 12cm fans, one exhaust, rear and one side intake. I also got an enhance 5140gh, very happy with both purchases.

That raidmax case is the one I based my C2D build on. It is a system builders dream. Absolutly no screws needed except to mount the MB to the fold out tray. I did replace the PSU though. I also have one of the Sagiata (sp?) from them too for my son and it still has the raidmax PSU and works just fine.

Right now the smilodon with psu is less than the one without (after rebate) on Newegg. So you might as well take the PSU as you should be able to get at least $25. for it on eBay to apply toward a real PSU.

i bought mine with PSU because it was cheaper as well. My PSU fan dies in a week and I went and bought a Toughpower 750. I love the case. It cools well and I dont even use the stabilizer bar with the fan in it. I took the fan and put in the other spot up by my optical drives.
