RaidMax Scorpio and HDD LED on MSI Kt8 Neo 2 Platinum

This is a stupid question, but I've been having problems with my HDD LED functioning on my RaidMax Scorpio case. From the documentation that came with the MSI MB(its the KT8 Neo 2 Platinum) the HDD LED is color coded on the red and the red/yellow pins on the MB. I've checked multiple times, and everytime I still have no LED response(i'm using SATA drives). Everything else works, Power Switch, Reset switch, so i'm wondering if maybe the case wiring is screwed or if the SATA drives for some reason won't allow me to get a HDD LED. I'm assuming its something in teh case wiring, or the instructions are wrong, i'm going to try every pin combination when i get out of work, but i'm just curious if anyone else ran into similar problems.
 
Would it have anything to do with SATA drives?? Can anyone confirm? I think its a manufacturing quirk with the case, rather than the motherboard.
 
Nevermind, the positive and negative pins were reversed, apparently it doesn't matter for reset or power on switches. Problem solved!
