Raidmax Samurai

Looking to build a new amd64 3500+ with the a8n32 board and researching a new case with p/s I love the aesthetics of this case! cool, sleek and not too mention a great eye catcher. Wondering if any of you guys/gals have one and if so how's it working for you? I'm looking at the one with the raidmax 430p/s

Not the sort of case I like at all. Simple and clean is what works for me. Antec P180 is about as good as they get.

dont use any power supply that comes with the case that is that cheap. The radimax power supplys are pieces of crap. I have one laying here that killed one of my friends machines. ITs a raidmax 430 with 13 amps on the 12v rail. 13 amps, are they joking.

ahhhhhh.. see now this is why I love coming here!! the input!! thanks!! what do you guys think of the Sonata with the antec p/s ... my experiences with antec have been all good ones no problems *knock on wood

how about a 18amp on a 12v?

for that cpu and board, you are going to want at least 24 amps on the 12v rail or 2 12v rails with like 15 amps on each. also make sure you get a power supply that has a 24 pin atx plug.

Raidmax power supplies are atrocious. I've seen many reports of them blowing and taking out components. It's the reason I bought my X-1 without a power supply.

if you really like the case pick it up but just change out the psu. You never know, try calling the place an see if they will sell it to you with no psu (it cant hurt to try).

I've been running a raidmax case and power supply with rig in sig for 4 months now with no problems. Only 13amps on 12v rail as well, however I just ordered a p180 and antec neopower480. I would have to suggest against running the raidmax psu though, I may have just gotten lucky.
