Raidmax 430w PSU

I wouldn't even sell it, I'd feel bad to do that to someone.

It is junk, I haven't seen a raidmax/powmax PSU that is worth anything yet.

Neither. Offer it to JonnyGuru. They were doing tests on budget PSUs a while back, and it'd be interesting to read about another PSU getting blown up or failing in spectacular fashion while being put through it's paces :evil:. Sadly, JG tends to review decent PSUs more often than not, which is a little boring, really.

I heard that if they took you up on the offer, you'd get your PSU exchanged for whatever "nice" PSU they had that month. Not sure if they're still doing that deal.
 
I bought Raidmax Ninja gaming case it comes with 430w psu but I took it out because I had a new Antec Smartpower 500w psu so I was not sure what to do with unused raidmax psu.
 
It is a mixed bag. Some of them hold up surprisingly well under stock settings. I ran a unit for about a month on an A64 Venice, X800XL based rig at stock. Well, OTOH it is known as crapmax for a reason... 🙂

I would keep it, for diagnostics if any.
