Raid setups

I am wanting to set up a raid deal on my PC. Right now, my motherboard is the a7v which does not have the raid capablity. My questions are, I recently ordered 2 Quantum Fireball AS 30GB harddrives. I also got this 30 GB Western Digital harddrive. They are all ATA100 7200RPM. Will I be able to throw all 3 drive in one stripe? Will the different makes do anything to screw things up? Also, what is best, upgrading to a a7v133 or just buying a fasttrak 100 raid pci card? Is having it onboard flaky?
