I'm getting ready to rebuild my computer. New MB, CPU, existing drives. Currently have my documents drive in RAID 1. I will not be rebuilding the array, going to a single drive.
Can I just hook up 1 drive to my new MB? Or is there a procedure for deleting the RAID 1 while keeping the data intact, then hook up the drive to the new MB?
I've backed up everything on the drive. But if I can do it without transferring everything back it would be much easier. Just docements, music, pics, etc. No programs or games. I do have multiple partitions on the drive.
