I am having some serious trouble with the raid.
At first it worked because I did not want to boot off of the 2 drives that were raided together(2 80gb SE's), so i installed windows XP onto another harddrive that booted. Now i want to make the raid array the boot drive.
So i go through the directions doing what it tells me, except it never says whether to set the array as boot, or to leave it as HDD-0.
So when installing XP, i do the drivers with the diskette thing, and EVERYTIME after formatting and copying files, when it goes through the real setup, where you set time and whatever, at 24minutes left, the blue screen comes up that tells me "you scrucked up somewhere, or something is wrong with your hardware". I have been through this several times, no luck. There is only a thin line keeping me from breaking the raid card.
Do you have any idea what the problem is, or any suggestions on how to solve it? Thanks.
