Does anyone know what the settings should be for 2 drives in an array on the Asus mobo? For example, master/master or slave/slave or master/slave. Also should you use only one cable for both drives or a separate cable?

On the same channel ? MASTER/SLAVE on different u can have master on ide1 and master on ide2... but thats for mirroring, for stripe, i believe they have to be on differnet channel but it also depend on how your mobo is design, some allow master/slave on one..
