I want it to have a raid 0 and raid 1 setup (is this possible? 0 for speed and 1 for stability correct?).
I will need it to run several apps at a time without the hiccups. Visual Studio, SQL Server, ETC.
I will also remote desktop through it to other PC's so I'd like a stable system that I can count on being up and not slow.
Can someone explain to me (or link) the true benefits of Serial ATA HD, and the real world benefits of a raid setup. I have read that there is no point in raid for speed, and I have read that it makes a huge difference. No clue which is reliable.
