Raid drivers in Windows 7

I have searched for a few days with no success. It appears that the raid drivers I downloaded form Intel do not function under Windows 7. Tried compatability mode with Xp Sp2 & Vista. It would appear to install but the device manager shows differently. Either way Raid is slow........ compared to XP/Vista using the drivers.

Using Raid-0; Abit IP 35-Pro; Windows 7 build 7000 (legit) 😛

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. If this has been answered I apologize. Looking at the search function on this forum was quite painful.

Intel drivers site is kinda messed up. Depends on what you click it will take you to a different versions of drivers. Said that, Windows 7 should recognize ICH9R without drivers. If it doesn't, you'll probably have to clean up the HDDs first. If you can, use a different system and hook the drives up, then delete whatever volumes/partitions in there. And when you go back to IP35, make sure to clear off RAID before you set one up. Not only for the board BIOS, but also for the ICH9R BIOS. Intel ICH has a bad habit of remembering HDDs.
