Hi all, I have an Intel D915GAG motherboard in my computer and I am trying to load windows. I have 2 250 GB hard drives, and the bios recognizes them...but windows won't load without a raid driver being installed. I have a CD that came with the board, but it is cracked and the drive in my laptop cannot read it. I have searched online but can't seem to find a raid driver specific to this board. Does the driver need to be for this board, or can I use my ASUS board's raid driver disk? If not, does anyone know where to find the correct driver online? Already tried Intel's website...they have raid drivers but my board is not listed. Thanks in advance for any help.

This appears to be something you install once in Windows. He is looking for something that will allow Windows Setup to recognize his 250GB HD so he can install XP Pro.

Can you do that with those drivers? If so, how?

Thanks!

Edit: the first listed item is a Windows-only installer.
Download the 2nd item: "intel-msm 6.2 beta.exe" and extract the contents.
Extract the STOR_f6flpy32 to get the "F6flpy32.exe" file. Run that file to write the required files to a blank floppy.
Then use that floppy disk for "F6" when booted from and installing from the Windows CD.
Note: when accessing the floppy, scroll down until Intel 82801FR (ICH6R) is highlighted.
