Raid Driver Disk Problem

I just got all of my parts from newegg and I did not have any trouble connecting any parts or wires (lol thank god) but I am having trouble installing XP Pro, as it does not recognize the drivers on the floppy disk it requires. I have an ASUS A8V Deluxe and two 36 gig Western Digital Raptors that I am attempting to RAID 0 with the onboard Promise SATA RAID controller.
However, after succesfully creating a driver disk via my ASUS CD (makedisk.exe), XP fails to recognise it, and prompts me again to "Please insert the disk labeled Manufacturer-supplied hardware support disk into Drive A:"
As far as I know, my floppy is functioning and my Rapters are functioning also, my BIOS tells me. Has anyone had similar problems with this motherboard or RAID controller or am I just missing something?

Dual RAID
The VIA K8T800Pro chipset incorporated two Serial ATA connectors with RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), and JBOD(spanning) functions while the Promise 20378 controller provides another two Serial ATA and two UltraATA133 connectors for RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), RAID 0+1, and multiple RAID functions. The motherboard is the ideal solution to enhance hard disk performance and security.

check your connections ..
