So, I have Abit IP35 and 3x 320 Seagates .10s.
3 HDs. 1 bad. Not sure which one.
So I swapped out #1 for #4 (new blank) HD. Rebuild went fine.
However, I still have a bad HD. #2 or #3 is still bad.
So, what happens if I swap out #2 for the previous #4 with old data on it?
Will RAID 5 eventually rebuild to this new drive to the system but with data on it? Or do I have to format or what?
This has been an on going pain to figure out and take care of. Going into the ABIT bios Ctrl+i I am not able to Force a rebuild. Shows degraded and 2 good and 1 new.
