New to servers Experts Guide me plz

Configuring RAID 1 on HP Pro 460C Gen9 Server(SSD Hard drives)
During Boot
1. I clicked F10 and went to intelligent provisioning.
2. selected HP Smart Storage Administrator

Smary Array = Create Array
I was having two drives selected both
Selected RAID 1.

Under Smart Array i can see : SSD over provisioning optimization
Selected (Perform SSD over provisioning Optimization on the Array) Wht does this mean.

Under SmaryArray i can see set bootable logica drive/volume.
Is this recommended by HP as i have one logical drive can i select it.

Over provisioning optimizes the lifespan and the performance of the SSD.

It sets aside a few GB of space so it can wear level across the drive, essentially so the same sections arent getting written to over and over again increasing the lifespan

This is in excess of the drives built in over provisioning. If these are "Enterprise" drives, they may already be overprovisioned enough already. Check the drive specs.
