Trying to set up my two Seagate Barracuda 4 40 gig drives as a Raid 1 on a Biostar M7MIA Board with the Highpoint 370A Raid controller.

The raid bios set up goes well as a raid one and it detects it as a raid one but when I go to install Win2K
during the format process (yes I hit F6 and installed the drivers) it says 38 gig on HDD 0 of 76 gig that is unformated or damaged and then when its finished formating it says it cant format the partation and says pick another and start over. What did I do wrong or suggestions.

Thanks

Did you go into the Highpoint controller BIOS and setup your RAID first? It should give you options to either Mirror (RAID 1) or Stripe (RAID 0). That might help.
