Lets say I have 6 harddrives, 2 are WD Raptor WD740ADFD, 4 are Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3750640AS 750GB drives.
The 2 raptors are for OS and applications and the 4 seagate drives are for storage.
1. Is it possible to setup RAID 1 for the raptor while setup RAID 0+1 for the Seagate drives??
2. If so, what are the motherboard / raid controller is avaliable on the market?? (I am looking for Intel 5000V/P/X northbridge chipset if possible)
3. Is it possible to implement above RAID levels to X975/P965/E7230 chipset mobo and nFore 4 Professional 2200/AMD8131 chipset mobo??

Thanks

1. yes.
2 and 3. I'm way too lazy to look all that up but as long as it supports raid over at least 6 sata connectors then there should be no problems doing the setup that you want to do.
