RAID 0 (striping) question...

I set up a raid array with striping for the first time, with a pair of 74g raptors. I always thought that two drives in a raid 0 array would total just one drive in space, so two 74g raptors raided would give you 74g. However, the total size of the drive is 140g. Was I wrong?

You did a RAID 0, which is stripping, final size is combined size of two HDs. RAID 1 is mirroring, final size is size of smallest HD (if you use 2 HD of different size).
