RAID-0 so small?

Hey folks,

I just setup a RAID-0 system with my Abit IT7 onboard HPT controller.

It seems, however, that the drive is only 223GB instead of ~ 320GB (there are two 120GB drives).

What gives?

I had a 64k size thing 🙂

Wow.

I'm an idiot without sleep. 2x 120 = 240. 223 is not bad for that.

Keep on! 🙂

Sounds like the conversion from base-2 to base-10. Read this FAQ.

Block sizes mainly affect performance, and have little or no impact on the size of the array.
