Is there any reason that a 146GB Seagate Cheetah drive, here, wouldn't work on a desktop PC? I ask because even the highest end computers such as Alienware ALX don't offer it. The cost is substantial, so I am going to buy 2 factory recertified ones. Any word on the reliability of used drives? Thanks
 
Itd work, but IMO it wouldnt be worth it unless you do a lot of random access stuff or thats for the server that gets a helluva lot.
