Raid 0 HDD compatability issues?

I'm sure I could go read up on this, but I'm kinda lazy lol so I'm just gonna ask around, there shouldn't be any issues running RAID 0, with a 74GB raptor 8MB cache, and a 74MB raptor 16MB cache should there? I'm assuming it will just only access as fast as the 8MB cache HD?

hrm... I wonder how detrimental that will be to performance, because when I built my system back in december I bought the 8MB cache version of the raptor which is all they had, ... but I want to go up to RAID now, so I want another raptor, everybody seems to be pushing the 16MB raptors not the 8's anymore.

You can run different rpm HDs in a RAID array, so cache should only be a minor issue.

I'm just wondering if it'd be worth the less chance of a headache to go out and find an 8MB cache 74GB raptor, or just say screw it and buy the 16MB.
