I noticed it a little while ago during the last steam update. Not too sure about this one though. Is it simply a collection of mini-games? It looks interesting, and might be a nice change of pace from the typical shooter-faire offered through steam.
Another interesting thing is the quote here on the webpage:

So this is the first 3rd party independently developed game being offered via Steam, a noteworthy approach being taken by Valve to expose gamers to titles they might otherwise skip (or that might never make it to retail in the first place). Slightly reminiscent of iTunes, where up and coming artists can get digital exposure via the internet.
I'd be great if someone here does buy it, and lets us know how it plays!

Did you watch the video, or are you basing your great foresight on screenshots?
Agreed. However, good news is that a demo will be released sometime after the full version (could be month or two, who knows?). I think I'll wait for the demo, it just doesn't look that exciting.Originally posted by: Tu13erhead

I watched the video. Wasn't impressed in the least.
Steam is an awesome channel?Originally posted by: Modeps
I preordered it up, even if it sucks, I want to support indie game makers trying out new stuff... and releasing it through an awesome channel.

not impressed at all. Adn how do yu control the characters? That would bea PITA if you need to use a mouse (much like you would for a cr@ppy flash game)

This is exactly what a lot of gamers have been asking for. A tangible benefit to online content, small time developers (or in this case, 1 member of a decent sized developer doing a side job) getting a chance to show off something that probably would have never seen the light of day. I will probably get it, if it works out good it could start up a community of online pc fighters.
