Which dvd manufacturer makes the most Scratch Resistent Media?

I am sick of buying these dvd bundles only to find out that a movie goes to hell as soon as a store it in a dvd binder. I don't have room for all those jewel cases!!

I ordered some last night to see if they are ok...

The DVD-R from Optodisc seems better than that of DVD+R; I order 25 of -R and 5 of the +R ($2.49 with jewel cases) to try them out; along wih the SanDisk 512MB CF.

Fuji does not make there own cdrs/dvdr

TY is a first tier manufacturer of optical media

If it says made in JApan with Fuji that generally means TY..in Taiwan buyer beware

I just got mine, and it says MADE IN TAIWAN on the package!
I can't burn at higher speed with my NEC 3500A

WTF very first dvd I tried to burn FAILED!
I tried again, and it worked :x
It took 14:34 to burn a 4442MB AVI file at 4x.

If it was 15 cents and generic, I wouldn't expect much.
But you said japanese brand, so I thought I was getting a good deal on some decent quality discs.

I got some of the DVD-R media and they blow...first time I've ever gotten a read error right out of DVD burner into somebody else's computer.
