RadioShack Digital Photo Viewer $9.99 Big Lots

Big Lots has RadioShack Digital Photo Viewer (originally $129.99) for $9.99 starting today. Uses CF, SD or MMC. Has USB and TV out cables. I bought two in Tallahassee this morning. They had several left then.

And, according to the OP at FW, you can go to http://willus.com/archive and download wdpv.exe which is a program that "takes any bitmaps given to it (PNG, JPEG, or BMP) and converts them to bitmaps compatible with a digital picture frame such as Radio Shack's Digital Photo Viewer (now discontinued) based on the GigaExpo P350 display model (by default)." Someone said that they are "currently using wdpv.exe to shrink my digicam pics to a 32MB MMC. so far, 215 pics are using up 6.6MB!"


Wouldn't pay $129.99 for this but sounds like a fun toy for $9.99.

It started yesterday and seems to be available in the south east states.

Called my local stores and one near my office has them in stock. Woot! I'll swing buy after work and pick up a couple.
 
If someone in the FL, AL, GA, or any state that has them would pick me up one or two , I'll buy them from you and pay shipping, etc......PM me. Or you might want to trade for some computer stuff I have, brand new or nevr or hardly used...I over bought...🙂 Thanks....
 
unfortunately not listed in my local ad, SW Ohio. For $10 I would be all over this. Thanks for the heads up OP.
 
According to folks over at FW, it shows up in stores where it was not advertised. I'd recommend you call your local stores.
 
I went anyhow. I just got back. I didn't find any. Although I didn't ask anyone I did comb through the store pretty well. After reading anymal's post I may give a call just in case I missed it. 😉
 
I checked 2 stores on my way home and neither had any. If anybody finds a bunch and wants to make a profit let me know.

And my only connection is my mother-in-law down in Rolla Missouri and it looks like dementedlemur cleaned them out.

Thought about taking one apart and putting it into a nice looking frame.
 
I went after work yesterday and the lady said that one guy came in the morning and bought them all. And then he had her call the other local stores and was going to buy all of theirs too. Prolly gonna resell 'em on eBay. That makes me mad (mostly because I haven't done the eBay thing yet).
