media today is quite a dissapointment, with the internet, radio, television and newspaper you would think that there would be a plethora of new information and news. Instead I get in the car today, hear about this on NPR, get to work and see it on anandtech and then go to digg.com and see it there, it is a crap news generation folks, enjoy.

The box set is priced in pounds (49 I think). I've been told a good rule of thumb on how to estimate prices in the UK is to take the price in the US (in USD) and substitute a pound sign for the dollar sign (basically, what it costs in dollars here it costs in pounds there). That might be why it costs $80 in the US.
wtf?
the exchange rate is 2:1 (2 US dollars to 1 british pound). the box set is 40 pounds -> $80
but thats not how it works for many products
The brits get screwed for pricing.
The same is true especially for canada, or any country that has VAT for that matter.

I paid $1US to download it. I'll buy it again if I like it.

Even at that, they probably still get more money out of it than they would from a $14.99 major label album sale. Or a $9.99 iTunes albums sale.

On Rollingstone.com, they did a preview with links to Youtube clips of most of the songs.
