Am I the only one that would rather have old radiohead (nothing after OK computer)?

the bends is one of their best

I think it is their best.
OK Computer > Hail to the Thief > *

I couldn't really rank the rest of theirs, although all of them are awesome.

Interesting rank. Most radiohead fans put HTTF not near the top at all...Except when they play them live..the songs were worked on a lot on tour and are ten times better live.

I cant really put them in order of what is best.

Adhempt- THEY PLAYED LET DOWN!?! how awesome! I thought they completely erased that from their set. It's such a great song, I hope they play it when I go. Oh yeah Berkeley tickets for Radiohead go on sale May 14 I'm planning on going to June 23 and 24.

While we are on Radiohead check out this country parody of radiohead songs-
"Rodeohead" - http://homepage.mac.com/lsinger9404/iMovieTheater71.html

Oh damn... I'm going to have to purchase the moment they go on sale (missed the presale :/). Maybe I should pick up some extras in case any other Atot'ers want to go? I do have a girlfriend that goes to berkeley so maybe she could try to pick them up when the box office opens.

yeah i would try and cover all the bases

Have someone at the box office(call ahead to see if being there early will matter)
get someone online
Get someone on a phone
and goto a ticketmaster outlet

www.ateaseweb.com Tons of people couldnt get tickets through ticketmaster.

OK Computer is one of the best albums of all time. It's one of the few CDs that I own which I only listen to from beginning to end (no shuffling).

I need to catch them on this tour!

thom yorke is going to release a solo album in july. i heard one of the songs (cymbal rush?) and it's pretty good. it's going to be produced by nigel godrich, the guy who produced everything after the bends, but i understand radiohead are going with someone else for their next group album.

they should come back to the southeast u.s. (FL or GA) next time they tour. i caught them in 2003 in atlanta and they rocked.

I like HTTT a lot. It is definitely the butterfly that came out of the cocoon that was KidA/Amnesiac. Some of the songs are still a little weird, but it's still quite good. I wish they had included I Am A Wicked Child on the album, that is a great song.

No Surprises isn't a remake, I think, but it did originally have completely different lyrics, IIRC.

Nice! Its going to be an amazing show!

And yes Thom as annouced that he is releasing a album my himself but has made it CLEAR that its not a solo album and that he will not be leaving radiohead at this time.

This is what he said:
this is just a note to say that something has been kicking around in the background that i have not told you about.
its called The Eraser.
nigel produced & arranged it .
i wrote and played it.
the elements have been kicking round now for a few years and needed to be finished & i have been itching to do something like this for ages.
it was fun and quick to do.
inevitably it is more beats & electronics.
but its songs.
stanley did the cover.
yes its a record!
no its not a radiohead record.
as you know the band are now touring and writing new stuff and getting to a good space so i want no crap about me being a traitor or whatever splitting up blah blah...
this was all done with their blessing. and i don't wanna hear that word solo. doesnt sound right.
ok then thats that.

i think its out in july and im pretty certain XL are going to put it out.

love thom

Look for a tour in 2007
