slunk, you've got some trippy tastes there friend. i like tripping daisy and the flaming lips quite a bit, but i can only take so much whiny-voiced trippy music before my head starts to hurt.

Tetsuo316: Are you referring to old Tripping Daisy music? Tim's voice really improved over the last two albums. If you haven't heard them, check them out. Also, Wayne's voice on the Flaming Lips' last album sounds less whiny too. I can't get tired of any of those albums.

Repeat after me: Arcwelder, Arcwelder, Arcwelder, Arcwelder...

They're a band out of Minneapolis, often compared to Husker Du and other bands out of this area. They're on Touch n Go, an indie label so you probably won't find them at Best Buy. But I know you can find their stuff on CDNow. Get some of their CDs, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. My favorite discs of theirs are Pull and Entropy.
