Radical New Processor??

Has anyone else heard of this new processor. My "friend" told me that there is a new transistor or processor that is going able to operate on something the size of a molecule. This seems completely rediculous to me. I don't think this is real but if it is this means rediculous faster processors. Anyone know anything about this. Unfortunately i don't know the supposed company or predicted speeds.
