Radeon9700 PRO w/ CnC Generals

Will the card run Generals as good as a FX? This is the main game that I am interested in, as well as any upcomming RTS titles. Not to high of resolutions should be played. Does ATI make the best card for their chip? I am mainly looking for stability, speed and overclock ability (what else eh?). Thank you for your help.

I don't think Generals needs that much power...

I run it in 1152x864 with Max detail on a Radeon 8500... And it's only backed by a Dual K7 1800+ with PC2100 (so for the game it's like a single 1800+).

9700 pro is the best card overall now price/performance hands down.

Ive got a 9700Pro and have Generals running at 1600x1200 full detail with no problems at all. It looks amazing also.

Great! I was hoping that it would run on a 9700 perfect. That will be my next gaming addiction! It was either that or wait for the R350, which I know next to nothing about. Most important spec = price
Any guesses?
