I wanto buy a video card thinking about getting this ATI RADEON 9600 PRO 128MB 8X AGP DVI/TV RETAIL for $174, never will buy a nvidia card again since my pny gf4 ti 4200 fried after around a year of using it
Im kind of on a budget my mobo says it supports agp 2.0 complient interface and 4x antialising, and that is card is Universal AGP 3.0 bus configuration (4X/8X), wouldnt that not be compatible with my mobo?

If your mobo is AGP 2.0 compliant, you should have no problems with any AGP 4x/8x videocard.

If you can, wait until the end of October to buy. Once the Radeon 9600XT comes out, ATi should lower prices on the 9600 and 9600 PRO.
