Hmm

Top specs show XT (standard) speeds while specs below says it's the Platinum version.

It really doesn't suprise me that they have the prices so high. First the XT is almost impossible to find in its AGP form. Then now they have to use PCI Express which have no top end cards out yet to compete. So if you really want a good PCI Express card you'll have to pay the big bucks.

It's a Pro VIVO, though. It might have a very good chance at turning into an XT with a BIOS flash (unless ATi has wisened up and shifted all the 16-pipe XT cores into plain XT cards, rather than shunting them to Pro VIVO cards and disabling a quad via the BIOS).

http://www.newegg.com/app/view...=14-102-394&depa=1 $699.00 for this bad boy from newegg. I have that exact card, but I'm not too sure how much I paid for it since it came with my system from Dell. Its about $270 to upgrade from a PCI-E X800 SE (128 card) so like I said, dunno how much that cost me. But my new rig only cost me $1600 though and thats with one of Dell's 17"FPs. Gotta love that military discount!
