Radeon X800 Pro Installation

So I'm building a new computer, and I've got a Radeon X800 Pro with a Giant III on it. I have a connection to the power supply attached, but every time I start up the computer, it does a constant beep and says that the graphics card needs to be hooked up the power supply.

Its a typical connector (like the cdrom, etc) and it was connected directly to the power supply (along with the hard drive on the same cable) but it says that darn message. I try unhooking the hard drive, still the same thing. I tried using a different cable and it still doesn't work.

The power supply is a 430w Antec, and everything else runs fine, the fans, the cpu, the dvd/cdrw.

Anyone know anything I should try or do to fix this?

Sometimes those PS connectors are pretty tight. Maybe it's not making good contact?

Did it come with the giant III?

Nope, just connecting the graphics card using the cables that are coming out of the power supply.

I meant the PS connector might not be going all the way in on the video card.

I was also speculating that the Giant III might have something to do with it if it was not the original fan. Perhaps it is drawing too much power from the card's fan connector?

Didn't the same thing happen with the early 9700 Pro's with some Antec PSU's???

Erm, mine is running perfectly fine. Maybe you are connecting the wrong power supply adapter or something.
