I just can't imagine spending $500 on a video card.

it's easy after the first time 😱

Agreed...If you really want killer performance, it is worth the price of admission. I paid almost $500 for my 6800 Ultra when they first came out. It is still working very well for all the latest games. If you're somebody who wants to buy the latest card each and every generation, it'll break you up. But, if you buy the high end every two to three generations, you'll be just fine.

You know what disconcerting I just bought that a week and a half ago for $499 I could have saved $20 bucks...

The week and a half of gaming etc would be worth more than $20 for most of us I think.

just paid 500 for a card, considering i spend the majority of the day in front of a computer ... its money well spend.

x1900xt for me too 😀 7900gtx still wont be able to touch it.

Stfu on having to pay a lot for a high end video card. If your smart you sell your old one then put the money towards the new one. Shouldnt cost you more then $250 for the upgrade.
