Radeon version question

Hi, I'm interested in buying a Radeon 9800(non-pro) and was checking out the prices. I ran into some cards that were Radeon 9800 SE. Is this the same card? Or is the SE a new variation of the 9800? Any help answering this would be appreciated.

As far as I know there is

9800 XT -new card
9800 256 PRO
9800 128 pro
9800 128 non pro

SE is a crippled 9800 np it only has 4 pipelines rather than 8 its about as good as a 9600 pro
better find a 9800 np fast I hear ATI is stopping the manufacturing of them because they are so easily modable to a 9800 pro. BTW I belive monarch computer still has them for 250 as does best buy.
 
I think the best value is to be found in the 9800np. If you scan the various forums, I think you will find many people saying the same thing. Using this card in stock clock setup provides good performance from its 8 pipe - 256 bit mem interface. I don't know why they appear to be in short supply, but they are getting harder to find. I bought one today from Best Buy for $250; it was the last one they had in stock. A 2nd BB had none. I would not buy the SE model and the XT/Pro are too expensive, IMO.
