Hi guys, I have a Radeon RX 570 PULSE 8GB GDDR5 256-bit on a MSI B450 GAMING PLUS and I wish to add another graphics card of the same type to have them rendering together. Would that be possible on this config?

I would say yes. From the product page - "MULTI-GPU: With STEEL ARMOR PCI-E slots. Supports 2-Way AMD Crossfire™ "

You can but be aware that multi-GPU setups aren't really supported very well anymore from AMD or Nvidia so I don't know how much real gain you'll get from adding a second card.

thank you for your answers!! I've seen very often two graphics card in the 3D community. the main gain should be to cut in half the render time.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work, but the second slot has quite low bandwidth(PCIe 2.0 x4). Now I have no idea whether that would impact rendering performance in any meaningful way, so maybe someone else can chime in on that.

I'm using it for 3D modeling :)

Oh, ok, then yes, adding a second card can be worthwhile assuming the software support is there for it.

Slower PCIe links can be a concern but I'm not sure how much or if an RX570 is really powerful enough to be bottlenecked by it. Most likely that won't be an issue.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer. You've cleared my head.

I'm using blender 3D with eevee rendering engine and RX570 with 8G had some impressive results. I wouldn't compare it
to high end ones but at half price is quite effective.
