I have a Radeon 64MB DDR video card. I just installed Windows XP. I am usign the XP driver from ATI's site.

I have my resolution set at 800x600x32. The refresh is set at 75Hz in the Monitor tab, but when I look in the Displays Tab it says the monitor is set at 800x600 at 60Hz.

What is it really set at? If it is 60Hz, how can I change it to 75Hz (or higher)?

Thanks,

Chris

what u want is a program that is called NVREVFIX. go to Thresh's Firingsquad and look in the windows xp article and it will tell about it in one of the final pages. basically for stability your refresh rates in 2k and hence xp are "capped." this prog is awesome, will let u get the real fps max from ure vid card.

EDIT: pardon the stupidity. i think that prog might be only for nvidia cards. hope not tho.

Will it fix Radeon refresh rate problems as well? Or nvidia only?

Sorry, I didn't think of this just now, but you can go to Entech Taiwan and download MultiRes, which will let you quick adjust resolutions and refresh rate for ATi cards.
