I have an older system that only runs Boinc. Asus Mobo with a Core2 Duo E6550 and currently a Radeon HD 6670 installed. It was mostly for Seti, but is running Pogs at the moment with no GPU work. I was thinking of picking up a cheap used R9 and dedicate the system to Milkyway after the Pogs challenge finishes. Will I have any driver issues since its a Vista system?

....meaning they don't UPDATE them anymore, but surely the existing drivers will be fine. Don't know for sure though.

The 280X is the beast you want to try and get...about 2 minutes per task, running 4 tasks simultaneously, for about 420,000 ppd. They've held their value very well...a steady $140-$150 on ebay for years now.

This is for Milkyway only, what I am seeing on Ebay is under $100...just want to make sure there are some drivers out there that will crunch.
