Radeon not on Madonion top 10 user list!

Madonion relies on 3dmark user response and in the user's choice section the GTS has 10% and the MX 8%. even the limited M64 has 5% (!!!)
strange omission
how come when there are so many varieties of Radeon and they get discussed so much, they are not even on the league table of owners? maybe the Radeon is successful primarily with the reviewers, tweakers and other cognoscenti only? I'm just trying to figure out if a lot of people got scared off by ATi's reputation for drivers or if NVIDIA has particularly good pr because the Radeon has definite advantages.

If you notice, the Voodoo3 also has the highest "user's choice" percentage. Yeah a lot of ignorant people are still using "drivers" a defense, but then again a lot of ignorant Intel loyalists still insist AMD sucks. ATI has a ways to go before they break through that, but as with AMD again, a sensible pricing to performance ratio is the key to that. This is from someone who owned a Rage Fury, and upgraded to a Radeon. Not a single problem. Am I the luckiest ATI user on earth? Probably not.

I would say that Radeon owners are too busy playing games and enjoying their card to bother with benchmarking.

the matrox G400 is at 4%. so the radeon couldn't be at more than a third of the ownership with3-4% than the GTS according to that chart. the Radeon didn't come out much later than the GTS did it?

(the Radeon is famously fast and ATi has 25% of the graphics industry, so why isn't the radeon in that list? is madonion being fair? I don't get it. the GTS was released in April and the Radeon in july I found).

I don't find it hard to believe that the V3 is the most widely used.
It's certainly not the best, but a lot of people have them.

Maybe the Radeon just doesn't have enough users that care about madonion?

Radeon is alright. I switched my Radeon to my bro for GTS2...hehe I like the GTS a lot more. It has more muscles for 3-D gaming. Can I get a CS?!!???!!!?? Wooooootttt!!!!!!! Oh yeah, what is up with Anandtech server guys? Anyone has more info on this?

The GTS was released earlier and was easier to find when it first came out. I remember a lot of ppl saying they couldn't find the Radeon after the first few reviews came out for it. Those other cards have already been out for a long time and I'm sure there are still a lot of ppl who use them. I used to use a TNT2 M64 card before I upgraded to a GTS card.

Taz, I used to run a lot of 3dmark2k on my tnt-2 ultra when OCing, but when I got the Radeon, there was no need.
Games just look to awesome to both with 3dmark2k
