Currently I have a laptop (VPR Matrix 180B5) with a Radeon M7 (Mobility 7500?)
that supports upto 1024x768 on my 15" Laptop.

It would be awesome if I can get some more real estate for my screen.

Are there any BIOS out there that can make this happen?

Not unless you find a BIOS that makes your laptop's LCD screen have more pixels.

You should be able to get a higher resolution on an external display, but you're stuck at 1024x768 for the built-in panel.
