Radeon looks like a contender!

The folks at http://www.hothardware.com managed to get hold of a 64MB DDR ATI Radeon board for testing, including thorough benchmarks. It looks pretty good but not world-beating (more like a slightly fuller-featured GF2). If nothing else it is good to see nVidia has another competitor on the high end. I believe I will wait to see what NV20 and Rampage can deliver.

LOL@Mday 🙂, i would think out of all those articles on that card the only that makes anysense to me is the anandtech one anyways. I like that card alot and it seems to have a bright future ahead of it. But what i want to see is the ati radeon sdr version vs. the geforce MX for the budget comparison.

Looks good so far but I wonder what the actual street price will be? Also when will ATI bring out a MAXX version of this card (I'm guessing when NV20 comes out) 😉

Cheers,
Aquaman

Probably an MX for me too. The Radeon looks very impressive, but they should have made some type of dual monitor feature. Seems to be the only feature missing on the ATI card.
