As an appian graphics user and a matrox graphic user.. Appian has been in the dual/quad much longer, a lot of adjustable features except appian isn't fast. Matrox is pretty good too but I would believe that ATI using's appian's development would kick ass soo.. unlike the nvidia twinhead which isn't as good but good 3D.., I tried already the mx already..

I want to use this card to watch dvd's in the T.V and simultaneously play some games or browse internet on the p.c.

Playing games will be the tricky part. I haven't really found many games that can be played in a window while other programs are running. For example, games like Diablo, Starcraft, CounterStrike, when you play those games, the other monitor just goes blank. I think the same would happen to a TV out...
