Radeon AIW Driver Problems

Man, I bought a Radeon AIW from buy.com a week ago using their $30 off coupon then I start reading all of this stuff about the Video In/Out not working, the DVD doesn't work, etc. under current drivers.

And then 3dfx releases the HSR beta drivers which boost speeds on an already good card! I'm saying, "Crap!"

Can some Radeon owners set the record straight for me.

What kind of problems are you encountering with your card? What can I do fix/get around these "issues"?

I'm puting my new system together tonight finally; I've been waiting for a couple days now for my SX830 case to come from Onvia. I think UPS shipped it on a frickin' pack mule or something, but it is supposed to arrive today.
 
what os are you using. I'm having no problems. I haven't used the vivo but i have used the dvd and it works fine. I'm running on w2k.
 
I had a few problems but they were related to the Radeon chip and not the multimedia features. The only problem which occured constantly was while watching TV on an 815E board. It would reboot for no reason.
 
Running an AIW on a msi k7t pro (tbird 1 gig)

All multimedia functions work great. (dvd, capture, replay)

Have one wierd problem, when the system is off, and I turn it on, I have to hit the reset button for video to come on. I can reboot, (hard or soft) and no problem. But if I shut down, I'll be using the reset button.

btw-- I'm using 6063 beta drivers and winME
