hey guys which one do you think its better, sapphire 9800np or built by ati 9700 pro?

here're the specs:
sapphire 9800np = 128mb 128bit capable of softmoding into 9800 pro speed.
ati 9700pro = 128mb 256bit unknown overclocking potential

i need some feed back pronto because i'm about to buy a card of this guy.

I would say the 9700pro. If the 9800 has the 256 bit interface then it would be a toss up. But if its a 128bit interface on the 9800?, then the 9700 pro hands down.

Um, 256-bit = 2 x 128-bit. What's to think about? Forget any 128-bit 9800, and get the 9700P.

That Sapphire may be able to softmod to 9800P clocks, but never 9800P speed.

9700 Pro, hands down.

As has been implied here (but not explicitly mentioned), the regular 9700 Pro and 9800np have only a marginal performance gap between the two, and something as significantly different as a 9800np with a 128-bit memory bus absolutely shatters any minor advantage the 9800np once had over the 9700 Pro.
