Back to $223.50 when I last looked. I should order one of these for a new computer I'll be putting together next week. It would sort of be overkill for me since I'm not big into games. That could change at some point, though. My problem is I already spent my maximun daily amount at NewEgg today. LOL

Dog gone! I just ordered the PowerColor 9800 Pro 128MB for $199, a few days ago. 256MB for only $25 more! Newegg must've just lowered the price on that board today. Anyone want a 128MB powercolor? :)

Got one this morning...$237 shipped including an refurb arctic vga cooler 3. Good deal since it seems more and more likely my 6800gt at compusa isn't going to happen.

this is probably a good enough price to use it a few months until the new cards are really available and then flEbay for a minor "loss".

Just remember, it won't likely run cool enough for OverDrive to really kick in w/o a better vga cooler.

Ugg, that's "only" the 128MB version of the 6800(lite). :p

Not a bad card, but not a major improvement over the 9800xt, anyway. IF you play at HIGHER resolutions (1280x1924 and up), the 6800 might be a better choice.

i didn't see Far Cry mentioned in the NewEgg deal!?
edit . . . ah yes, click on the "images" . . . FC is included. Might be a good alternative deal if you don't have it already and/or want it. ;)

The 9800 Pro 256/256 doesn't come with ANY games. :(

Here's a DIRECT comparison with recent drivers of the 9800XT/6800/GT6800 and x800Pro
Keep in mind the 6800-128MB version will be slower than the GT.

If anyone wants mine, i am willing to sell mine at COST. I just received the card today. Opened box to check contents and the core. It is R360 Core confirmed w/ Hynix 2.5ns memory which means you can flash it to RADEON 9800 XT series. Card is not used.

My cost: $239.98 (Tax in CA)
So, the card is yours for $240 + actual shipping charges (3lb)

Good deal for those in states where newegg charges tax. Also, its a confirmed R360 core w/ Hynix 2.5ns memory, so no gamble that you will get a unmoddable card.
