Radeon 9800 Pro Atlantis 128MB OEM $229 shipped

Does this have a DVI output jack? It says "ATI Sapphire RADEON 9800 PRO ATLANTIS 128MB DDR CRT/DVI TV With DVI Adaptor OEM" so I'm not sure if they're trying to say that it works with DVI monitors via a VGA -> DVI adapter. I'm not sure that I trust the picture (hard to tell from it anyway).

The reason why I ask is I have noticed the difference between VGA & DVI on the same two LCD monitors using different video cards (one with a DVI out, the other using the VGA adapter), primarily with ghosting effects in games.

Thanks for any info!

yeah, that's because VGA is anaolg and DVI is digital.

Nice price on a pro 9800. NOw if we can only see it @ $200 shipped (should in a few months)

For what it's worth.... The 9800 has a DVI AND VGA port. The DVI adapter is the dongle that lets you hook up another analog monitor to the DVI port. I have about 10 of them in my house, you can get them anywhere.

Maybe ATi is coming out with its new card soon. God knows is is about damn time. The R300 chip is already 20 months old.

I wouldn't give their site an 8.5, it looks like it is one of a no name company if I didn't know better.

Under warranty info at their site it states:

"OEM products warranted by NewEgg.com will have the Standard 1-year warranty"
