I must be blind or some changes were made...or both I guess. 😉 I don't see anything at that link about refurb and the price is $158.

Doesn't a Nvidia 6600GT better it in performance though now?

does a 6600gt cost 127 shipped?

Actually, mine basically did... Also a refurb, bought it from NewEgg about a month ago for about $130. It was a Gigabyte 6600GT. Works like a charm.

No

New version is available from monarch computers for $156 with free shipping and no tax to CA . Looks like they are giving newegg a run for their money allright.
ATi Radeon 9800 pro

I ordered the logitech 4000 deal from last week with free shipping from monarch and was delivered from GA to CA in 2 days. They use the same 2 day fedex express saver as newegg.

Was it refurbished or just an open box return.

Refurbihsed means a Mfr re-certified it as in perfect working order. OPen box is pot luck, someone else did not want it for some reason

newegg refurbs are usually fine. I have ordered 3 mobo's and a video card refurbished over the years. The hardware is usually stable and works fine. the worst case I ever had was with one mobo that was stable but the onboard sound didn't work. However, I only paid $25 for a biostar kt333 board so it was still a pretty good deal.
