Radeon 9800 AIW Pro or Radeon 9900 (9800 XT)

what shold i get guys ... since i could get the AIW PRO right now but i heard the 9900 is coming out soon

also should i wait for the 256mb ram of the 9800 AIW or should i just get the 128

I'd wait a few more days. The debut of R360/RV360 is right around the corner. You'll then be in a better position to make a decision.

But if you need the AIW features, you need an AIW. If not, wait.

are you really going to be using the AIW features? Will an add-on card suffice? IF it will, then you get to wait for the best card coming out soon....

A product might be announced soon, but I didn't hear anything about quantities making their way to vendors yet. At the same time, a 9800 XT card doesn't guarantee an immediate AIW offering. Usually the AIW trails.

If there is some kind of emergency, there's nothing wrong with the 9800 Pro.

It might, but I have yet to see an Add-on tv-tuner than can touch the video quality of the newer AIW cards :frown:
